My special person, is my amazing husband stand 5'10 he's got reddish brownish, grayish hair. He has been told he looks like Billy Ray Cyrus. The reason my husband is my special person is because he has stood by me for 13 years, our marriage has been blissful, rocky, emotional, wonderful, stressful, and glorious. In the 13 years that we have been together we have dwelt with the loss of my step son, the diagnosis of our daughter's health issues, lot's of financial nonsense, but we have also been given so many wonderful blissful days. My husband is the old school type, and we are 17 years apart, but he is a kid at heart. we have 2 beautiful children together and when I married him he had 2 wonderful kids from a previous marriage, five and a half years into our marriage my step son committed suicide, which truly caused so much heartache and pain that it strained our marriage so bad, but we took God's hand and he led us through the rocky waters into the blue sea. Six years into our marriage our baby was diagnosed with a heart condition, which again put stress on our marriage because of finances were rocky. Seven years into our marriage my step daughter decided it was time to move out and go to the East Coast to Canada to live with her mom, that added a little bit of strain to our marriage, eight years into our marriage my husband suffered a heart attach while working as a roofer, at that time the doctors told him he was not't allowed to work anymore, so we started the very hard long process of applying for disability for him, again adding to the stress we had. But God didn't't give up on us, and we take our vows very seriously so we decided it was time to fireproof our marriage, we completed this love dare challenge called "The 40 day love challenge" not only did it strengthen our marriage to be able to conquer anything together it showed us how to re kindle our love for each other, it also showed us how to talk and work through our problems, and our Ten year anniversary we ended up renewing our vows, today were going strong and still facing many challenges but always facing them together, and always giving them to God first. We met in 1998, and in 1999 decided we would start dating, upon my husband deciding I was the one, he took me and my family skating at which point he purposed to me on the skating rink floor, we married shortly after in 2000. Though our marriage has been rocky, it has also been so wonderful, I would not trade him for anything in the world and though we have our issues sometimes he is still no matter what always special to me. Each day I fall in love with him again and again, and each night I thank God for not only blessing me with such a wonderful man, but I say a prayer for him each night, we have learned we never go to bed mad, and we always talk about things. Yes we get upset with each other sometimes but we never say mean things to each other, we never use put downs, and always forgive each other. He makes my heart go pitter pitter and skip a beat each time he walks in a room, when ever I'm away from him I miss him like crazy, and when I see him after being away from him he holds me and kisses me and tells me how much he missed me. He is the person to make me glow, he is the person who makes me feel great, he is the person who stands behind me and beside me no matter what life brings our way, he is the person who I fantasies with, and about, he is the person that makes my world stop, he is the person who I love waking up to and love going to bed to. To me my husband is the most special person besides my kids. I love my husband so much and that is why he is my special person.
